When should you start planning?

We recommend getting in touch as early as you can. The landscaping timings below are indicative lead times before work can begin; the garden design estimate is the time to develop the design. Your dates depend on the scope, materials and current schedule.

Maintenance

For regular garden maintenance, it is best to book early in the year, ahead of the spring growing season. Contact us early to discuss the care your garden needs and space in our schedule.

Landscaping

As a guide, allow up to three months of lead time for smaller landscaping projects. Larger projects can need up to twelve months of advance planning. Booking early gives time to bring the design, materials and construction schedule together.

Garden design

The garden design process typically takes around six to twelve weeks. Depending on when you start planning and the scale of your project, the landscaping work may take place the following year.
