The standing stones in the 2025 RHS Malvern garden, inspired by the prehistoric landscapes of Brittany, provided a connection to the ancient past. They stand tall within the garden, offering a quiet presence that evokes the deep, timeless energy of the land. Alongside the standing stones was the labyrinth, a meditative pathway lined with scented herbs, offering visitors an opportunity to walk mindfully, allowing their thoughts to settle as they trace the spirals. Labyrinths have long been used for reflection and spiritual exploration; in St Godwald’s Retreat, the pathway represented life’s journey and invited quiet introspection.
