Service Description
Keep hedges tidy and manageable with trimming, shaping and assessed reductions suited to the hedge and season. We discuss its species, condition, access and the finish you want before agreeing the work. Our planning takes account of nesting wildlife and the hedge's ability to recover. The quotation makes clear whether removal of cuttings is included and any work that needs a different approach or timing. Local quotation visits from £12 including VAT (£10 + VAT). This is the starting visit fee, not the cost of hedge cutting. Your consultation fee is confirmed before booking. Payment & Cancellation Policy
Bookings, payment and cancellation Please give at least seven days' written notice if you need to cancel a confirmed booking. We may also cancel with seven days' written notice. Your statutory rights, including any applicable cooling-off rights, are unaffected. If you ask us to begin a service during a statutory cooling-off period, we will obtain any consent required by law first. A design consultation is a one-hour site visit with a designer. We discuss your aims and assess key measurements, soil, light and site conditions, then provide a detailed client brief and proposal for the design fees. A quotation visit covers measurements and your requirements; afterwards we provide a digital proposal with a detailed scope of work, itemised materials and a fixed labour cost. Visit fees are due within 24 hours after the visit. If you proceed with a quotation within 14 days of the proposal date, we credit the quotation visit fee. An enablement payment covers project planning and organisation. The enablement service is complete when we offer you a work schedule and you accept it. Once that service has been completed, its payment is not refundable. Material deposits and other payments are refundable, less reasonable costs already incurred, including non-returnable materials ordered for your project and out-of-pocket expenses, where the law permits.
