Why choose native hedging?
A boundary can do more than mark where a garden ends. Readyhedge’s ready-grown native hedges offer a planted edge with seasonal character. We use Readyhedge products and consider the finished garden as carefully as the first day’s effect.

Why choose native hedging?
Give the hedge room to establish
Decide how high and wide the finished hedge should become and how you will reach it for cutting. Consider nearby paths, gates, windows, seating and available soil. If year-round privacy is essential, discuss a suitable mix or an additional screening element.
Troughs and bags are growing and delivery containers. Remove them just before planting; they are not permanent decorative planters. Prepare the trench for the actual roots, agree the planting depth and water thoroughly. Keep roots moist if installation is delayed.
Agree the watering and care plan
Ready-grown does not mean self-sufficient. Roots need consistent moisture during establishment, especially in dry weather. We can discuss access for watering and whether irrigation would make the routine easier.
A wildlife-focused hedge needs a balance between a manageable shape and opportunities to flower and fruit. Check for active bird nests before cutting and delay work where birds are nesting.
The owner-supplied photographs illustrate leafy and winter garden boundaries. The exact mixture is not identified; they are not a specification for the hedge you will receive.
